Week four is generally the end of the long stretch of holidays that run through the shortest day of the year -- all those religious holidays wrapped around the solstice finally wind down here with Martin Luther King Day. We finished off the season with another visit with Emily before she went back to school and our Christmas visit with my mom.
Beth was already back in class and Emily was on a Sunday train. Kitty and I had one more day before I return to work.
