The North Carolina State Fair opened today. Twice this week, I took lunch break to walk the fairgrounds and see the set up progress. To me, it’s almost as interesting as the Fair itself. There is certainly less crowd stress.

It’s a photo rich environment. This gallery contains the results of about an hour-and-a-half of walking and talking.

We’ll go to the fair this weekend to see the attractions and maintain the family habit. Chances are I’ll go for a couple of lunch breaks next week just to take pictures of the crowd.
