Our family goes to the State Fair every year. The reasons change as we go through life. At this point we make sure we see the animals and take pictures. We eat, but not all that much junk. I guess it’s just a bonding thing for us.
In high school, I went with Snake Pollock’s agriculture class.
My birthday always falls during the Fair. In later life, my step father worked the fair with the Ag Department, so that made the fair part of a family meet up.
At one stage when the kids were small, it was me with Emily and Beth. Rides and petting zoos were the main attractions.
This year, it was Kitty, Beth & I who went. The rides are not a part of the experience now for the family trip.
