Artspace is Raleigh’s public studio space. A commercial building in the old city market has been divided into studio spaces for a variety of artists. Each serves as a shop as well. The public may walk through the mall area watching the artists work through a window or even step in and talk with the artist.
Their biggest annual fundraiser is great fun with supporters coming into the shop for drinks and multi-course appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. This year’s was held last Saturday.
