Managed to catch Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba at Washington’s recent BOCO Music Festival sponsored by the local Beaufort County Arts Council. They struck me as Afro-Pop with a hefty streak of trance-dance jams, and a pinch of Grateful Dead. They come from around the Research Triangle. Well worth a listen if you get a chance!
