Most of week 31 I spent holed-up at the house slopping a deadline. But, after uploading The NC Mason, we headed over to Durham to enjoy a Bulls game. (Yes, the Durham Bulls are a real team and they preceded the movie by many years.)
A group of fans in right center spent much of the game working on the Gwinnett Braves’ rightfielder. They never said a thing bad to him. They sang songs to him customized with his name. They talked to him and tried to get him to respond. It was like some musical movie, with songs erupting from ten people, complete with harmonies. Late in the game they were joined by a percussion team who accompanied with a seat back beat. While the right fielder refused to respond, the centerfielder laughed and watched them. He was thanked quite loudly and even got his own personalized serenade.
