Okay, I don’t pull the wings off flies or mistreat my dogs, BUT I am not beyond abusing an image a bit. There is some vague teasing at the back of my optic nerve about 1940s post cards or earlier paper negatives. I’m just sorta reacting to them right now. It’s fun to cast off the weight of representational accuracy.
