First draft, fragmentary
First draft, fragmentary
Week 38 was the week for our big annual meeting at the Grand Lodge. That meant no play time the first of the week getting ready. Four days and three nights in a hotel in Winston-Salem, meant little time on usual ground.
I managed to find an hour or so each night to walk with the camera. We were near the tobacco/warehouse section of town. (The cigarettes are named for the towns, NOT vice versa.) I am fascinated with the color of mixed light sources in industrial areas at night.
Nearby is the main city bus terminal and the art section of town with its night spots for the young at heart. It was nice to see some fresh territory, and walking with the camera in this part of the world has become something I look forward to.
Each walk, I carried the M8 with either the Noctilux 50/1 or CV Nokton 35/1.2. The CV 15 tucked in my pocket got limited action due to low light.
