Started vacation. Got to Little Washington last night after 8:00 o’clock, stopped at the house for a minute, and headed downtown to catch the last bit of this month’s Music in the Streets. Heard a little music, visited a few friends, enjoyed the breeze off the river.

Headed out to the waterfront Farmers Market early this morning. They were having a car show on Stewart Parkway. Bought some veggies and a daylily. Listened to some traditional rural music, admired the cars, talked to some friends until we got too warm.

Ate too much when we took my mother-in-law out to lunch. Watched some World Cup on TV. Took a short nap.

All in all, a pretty good start to vacation.
