my today
my today
Whatever the calendar may say, summer began last week. That’s when everyone got out of school, and the girls all headed for Washington and Tranters Creek until school starts again for the fall. During the week, I’m the bachelor working stiff in the big city. Weekends, I’m mister leisure dad in the little town on the river.
Not only that, but my first week of vacation started Friday afternoon. So, this album contains Raleigh street scenes and leisure fun from Little Washington. There are even a couple from the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh where the Capitol Press Corps held its annual skit night June 16. That’s where I found out that a kid I photographed years ago grew up to be the governor’s deputy chief of staff.
What you see above is what happens if you put a hot dog in still water -- ripples timed to match pants. Click here for the rest of my PAW 24.
