A new exhibit has opened at the North Carolina Museum of History. It’s a high-end traveling show about George Washington, our first president. A Washington impersonator from Mount Vernon and other special features were there for the opening. There are a couple of views here with more coming later.
A trip home to Little Washington (the first town named for George; 1776) let me do a little country driving to enjoy some of the views there.
Finally, there was time to stop off during the week to walk my favorite streets in Raleigh, NC’s capital. I generally concentrate on the regular inhabitants rather than the political occupants.
