Dave Rowland toured with Elvis while he was in the Stamps Quartet and was later a member of the Four Guys. He was later a star in Charlie Pride’s roadshow.
In 1975, he hired two girl singers (who changed over the years). They went on to record several Top 25 songs including “Queen of the Silver Dollar,” “The Door is Always Open.” “Tear Time” and “Golden Tears” were both number one charters. They put nearly a dozen songs in the Top Ten.
