You’d never know it from the sound, but Little Feat had heavy foundations in Frank Zappa’s band The Mothers. Founding guitarist Lowell George and Bassist Roy Estrada left The Mothers to form Little Feat in 1969. Little Feat went through several changes in sound and feeling over the years.

The incarnation seen here is the one featuring Paul Barrere on guitar and Shaun Murphy singing.
