Ron Page has been an important Freemason for years. He made important Masonic strides as master of Hiram 40 in Raleigh. He was also chairman and coordinator of the state’s Annual Communication for many years.
Nagging pains in recent months were difficult to diagnose. Eventually, he found that he had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Today, the Jim “Catfish” Hunter Chapter of the Walk to Defeat ALS was held here. There was a large turnout from Ron’s family and friends including a large team from his home lodge Hiram 40. He is seen above with his family.
