We went up to Music in the Streets here in Little Washington on Friday night. It was its usual entertaining self. Always enjoy the homecoming atmosphere.

While we were watching the crowd and acts, three large fellows passed by. I took a picture, and they greeted me. One leaned over and told me they were playing a small club in town, urged me to come by.

I took them up on it, having never visited Notes Cafe. The guys playing were Steel Standin’, the biggest band in Macclesfield, NC. They are a fine rowdy cover band with both feet in electric blues and hard rock plus a taste of R&B. Supper band!
