I’ve been lucky enough to see and meet and photograph many interesting people over the years. Some of them are well known. I’m starting to collect a few of them in one place.

Installment one is Timothy Leary, the guru of the psychedelic generation. While he urged a generation to “Turn on, tune in, and drop out,” many of the kids of the era took ever more involved positions in society.

I met and photographed him when he debated Gordon Liddy at East Carolina University in 1982.
