You’ve got to be a good drover to make it into NASCAR. Phil Parsons ran more than 200 races over 15 years on the Winston Cup circuit. 1988 was surely his best year, finishing ninth in the points and winning the only race of his major league career, the Talladega 500.
He is Benny Parsons younger brother, a description which likely he tires of hearing.
