I’m not sure if I ever took two consecutive weeks of vacation before. Necessity shoved me into the boat this year. Additionally, no one in the family has forced me into sport vacationing too see how many new things we could do. Staying up late, sleeping late. Went to lodge a couple of times to see old friends.

We walk on the waterfront when things cool off in the evening. Sometimes ride out just to stave off the cabin fever. Worked on PAW 2010 book. Did some delayed chores, but no hard schedules. Waited for things to come off the truck at Lowe’s for house repairs. Bought an over-sized watermelon.

Driving to the beach one day. Went to Greenville to get film developed and order some Berkie sandals. I may try this kind of vacation again next year.
