The Ride as been around for more than 10 years. It started with Masons in a lodge in China Grove, NC. They decided to have breakfast together, then ride their motorcycles to the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, NC. They had a good time and have repeated it over the years. They now regularly have more than 100 motorcycles converge on the campus.
They have lunch there and give kids rides on the bikes. They often bring other attractions to campus including race cars and sometimes helicopters and other things which excite the kids.
The Masonic Home for Children is the oldest continually operating orphange in the country. It opened in 1871.
