First draft, fragmentary
It can get hard to see photos when you look at the same scenery all the time. It is one of the talents that comes in handy for small town newspaper photographers. Seeing the fresh in the same old sights. I sometimes describe it as keeping a 12-year-old’s eye.
We had Annual Communication during Week 38, so it got me some fresh atmosphere with four days in Winston-Salem. Sadly, I didn’t get as much time to walk the old warehouse district as I like, but did pull down an hour or so to see the late night look.
