First draft, fragmentary
First draft, fragmentary
The week after finishing each issue of The Mason is both lazy and energized. There’s a drive to move outward, but at the same time a period of decompression after days of gazing in and staring at computer screens and fitting the pieces of the layout puzzle.
After the latest issue, I was glad to see town again -- to move among and through the busy, sometimes isolating, milling in the streets of people and traffic. A nice topping for it all was my first trip to Washington in nearly a month.
