First draft, fragmentary
First draft, fragmentary
There is a darkness about this week’s photos. I don’t think it has anything much to do with my mood, just the way things fell to me this week. Did not get much time to play with the camera this week as it was finish the NC Mason week. Awaken to bedtime work on the paper to finish. Maybe it was my mood.
By the way, the owl in this set is a regular in our yard in Washington -- has been for years. Stepped out on the deck on Sunday, went to the rail, and was startled by a silent rush of air on the top of my head just as a brown flourish appeared before my face. The barred owl went of few yards to the edge of the swamp, and settled with his back to me. He must have been perching in the tree that overhangs our deck. I apologized to him for the inadvertent fright and we called it even.
