My niece, Catherine Lilly, got married last weekend. Kitty and I enjoyed a trip to Suffolk, Virginia. She was married in the Methodist Church there on Main Street, during a street festival. The reception followed on the Nansemond River at Obici House, the plantation house that peanuts built. The Obici family started Planters Peanuts.

I have a brown thumb when it comes to wedding photography, but I enjoy taking pictures at them so long as I’m not the official recorder of events. Kitty and I enjoyed a fine evening visiting with family and friends.
