Since childhood, I’ve enjoyed seeing the lines of automobiles -- the waves of early aerodynamics -- the over-the-top fins of America’s 1950s -- the utterly simple wedges of racers in the 1960s -- the wind tunnel tested lines of modern efficiency.


From October 12, 2013 through February 2, 2014, the North Carolina Museum of art here in Raleigh helped demonstrate that car design is indeed art. Kitty and I finally got around to visiting Porsche by Design, Seducing Speed on its next to last day. We should have gone earlier and visited more. Here is a gallery of all the cars in the show.
