I LOVE State Fair!!

I’ve been visiting the North Carolina State Fair since I was a kid.

My interests have changed as time has gone by. I first enjoyed the immensity of the event. Later I was fascinated by the many sights there. For a while, I met my family there each year to celebrate my birthday. (I’m exceptionally lucky that my birthday falls during the agricultural fair every year.) For some years, I appreciated carrying my girls there to see the show and ride the rides. For now, my real pleasure is in seeing and photographing the people there.

I was by one night to photograph just the tractor pull -- photos here. I grabbed three lunch hours to visit this year, the third being today for teardown.
